Olympism – A New Century of Winter Art-in-Sports
This year, in collaboration with the Al Oerter Foundation (AOF) and Art of the Olympians (AOTO), the LeRoy Neiman and Janet Byrne Neiman Foundation and Stewart’s Shops are funding a groundbreaking 7-week art-in-sports program for 500 students across 28 schools in Upstate NY—guided by Olympian and Paralympian artists and educators.
Leading the program is Roald Bradstock, a two-time Olympian known as the “Olympian Picasso” for his fusion of sport and impressionist art. Alongside fellow Olympian artists, students are exploring the spirit of Olympism—the philosophy that art and sport together can inspire excellence, creativity, and unity.
Join us March 8th for the awards ceremony in Lake Placid, where LeRoy Neiman’s artwork will be showcased, and prints will be gifted to attendees—celebrating creativity, community, and the Olympic spirit!
