Art of the Olympians and Al Oerter; Introduction: Al Oerter and Bob Beamon
Meet 4 time Olympic gold medalist in the discus thrower and artist Al Oerter and his new organization of Olympian artists called Art of the Olympians (AOTO) who had their first show in Fort Myers Florida in March 2006. They went on to have have a three exhibition tour in New York at the United Nations, National Arts Club and the New York Athletic Club (NYAC) in November 2006. Their artwork was also shown on the giant Panasonic Big Screen in Times square for the entire month of November and they were also featured on the CBS national morning show.
