Olympism – A New Century of Winter Art-In Sports

Olympism – A New Century of Winter Art-In Sports

This year, in collaboration with the Al Oerter Foundation (AOF) and Art of the Olympians (AOTO), the Foundation is funding a groundbreaking 7-week art-in-sports program for 500 students across 28 schools in Upstate NY—guided by Olympian and Paralympian artists and educators.

Leading the program is Roald Bradstock, a two-time Olympian known as the “Olympian Picasso” for his fusion of sport and impressionist art. Alongside fellow Olympian artists, students are exploring the spirit of Olympism—the philosophy that art and sport together can inspire excellence, creativity, and unity.

With funding from The LeRoy Neiman & Janet Byrne Foundation & Stewart’s Shops, this project embodies the very spirit of Olympism—the power of art to unite, inspire, and create lasting impact.

Join us March 8th for the awards ceremony in Lake Placid, where LeRoy Neiman’s artwork will be showcased, and prints will be gifted to attendees—celebrating creativity, community, and the Olympic spirit!
